We are seeking a dedicated and professional Butler to join the team of a prestigious 5-star luxury lodge. This is your chance to provide personalized, high-end service to our guests, creating unforgettable experiences from the moment they arrive until they depart. Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 5-star lodge or hotel as a butler or in a similar role with F&B and/or housekeeping exposure
Strong command of English
Professional, polite, and discreet demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome, greet, and escort guests to their accommodation
Provide a full orientation of guest rooms and lodge facilities
Deliver personalized service with urgency and dedication
Attend to all guest requests promptly, liaising with other departments as needed
Offer unique dining experiences and coordinate celebrations with the Lodge Manager
Anticipate guest preferences, noting likes, dislikes, and special requests while respecting privacy
Maintain a calm, discreet, and courteous manner at all times
Conduct pre-arrival inspections of rooms, amenities, and facilities
Serve as the dedicated butler to a group of guests throughout their stay
Communicate allergies, preferences, and requests accurately to relevant staff
Competencies:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork and cross-department collaboration
Ability to provide detailed instructions clearly and efficiently
Proficient in POS systems
