Job Title: Chef de Partie – 5* Luxury Lodge
Salary: R12500 CTC
Location: Paterson
Reports to: Senior Sous Chef

We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a prestigious 5* lodge. This is your chance to showcase your skills in up-market cuisine, work alongside experienced chefs, and deliver exceptional dining experiences to high-end guests.
Requirements:
Diploma or formal qualification in Culinary Arts
Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in up-market cuisine at a 5* lodge/hotel
Current food handler health card or HACCP certificate
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of authentic and innovative dishes for high-end guests
Ensure kitchen readiness and smooth operation during service
Maintain kitchen equipment and follow all food safety & H&S procedures
Work collaboratively with other kitchen sections to deliver exceptional guest experience
Monitor food costing, portion control, and minimize wastage
Competencies:
Fluent in English
Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of GAAP POS systems & Excel
Driver’s license preferred
Sober habits and professional conduct
